Embracing the Retro Vibes: Coffee-Themed Double Page Scrapbook Layout

Hello, fellow crafters! Today, I’m excited to share my latest project using the Stampin’ Up! “A Little Latte” Product Suite. As a coffee lover, this double-page scrapbook layout was especially fun to create, capturing the sweet moments from my frequent trips to the coffee shop.

Creating the Layout

To achieve the retro vibe, I used my Cricut to cut out retro-style words and incorporated a grid layout design. (To purchase these SVG files, please visit NSArtShop by clicking here or on the photo. Sarah has lots of other fun stuff too!! To see other available SVG Files, click here.)

1. Grid Style Layout:

I opted for a grid-style layout which gave the page a clean and organized look while allowing me to feature multiple photos and patterned papers. (Holds up to 9 photos in the grid)

2. Double Matted Photos and Patterned Papers:

I double-matted the spaces for photos and patterned papers using cardstock from CTMH in colors black, mocha, peach, and papaya.

This layering technique added depth and dimension to the page.

3. Embellishments:

On top of the patterned paper mats, I added various embellishments that were stamped and die-cut from the stamp set included in the “A Little Latte” product suite. These cute coffee-themed stamps and dies brought the theme to life.

4. Heat Embossing:

To add a bit of sparkle, I heat-embossed the hearts on the coffee mugs and the whipped cream toppings. This technique not only added texture but also a touch of whimsy and elegance to the layout.

The Inspiration

The photos used in this layout are from my many delightful visits to the coffee shop, highlighting the sweet sentiments written by the barista. I think I nailed the retro-happy vibe, and it truly reflects the joy and warmth of those coffee moments. After all, who doesn’t love coffee?
