💀 STEP-BY-STEP: CRAFTING A NIGHTMARE-INSPIRED MASTERPIECE!
👻 WARNING: This layout is SO COOL you may need to double-check that Oogie Boogie didn’t sneak into your craft room!
🎃 Step 1: Prepare the Spooky Base!
Start by cutting out an 11x11 center from your 12x12 black cardstock. (We’ll use that piece later for photo mats—waste not, want not!)
Now, trim your White Daisy cardstock to 11 ½” x 11 ½” and place it inside the border.
🕸️ Step 2: Build the Haunted Wreath!
This isn’t your grandma’s Christmas wreath—it’s a Halloween masterpiece!
✔ Mask a circle in the center of your White Daisy base using a circular scrap.
✔ Blend Granny Apple Green ink around it to create an eerie glowing effect.
✔ Flick glacier shimmer splatters around the edges for a ghostly touch!
🌟 Step 3: Stamp, Punch, & Die-Cut Your Nightmare Friends!
✔ Stamp images from Sweetest Star & Freshly Baked onto White Daisy cardstock.
✔ Color the stamped stars to resemble Jack, Sally, & Oogie Boogie!
✔ Punch extra stars from patterned paper and cardstock.
This was my first time using a punch, and let me tell you—it was love at first punch! 💥 (Yeah, I said it.)
🖼️ Step 4: Assemble & Bring the Nightmare to Life!
Before ANY glue touches paper, lay it all out first!
✔ Double-mat your photo using black & white cardstock.
✔ Position two overlapping cookie racks (yes, COOKIE racks!) to frame the photo.
✔ Place your wreath stars, staggering them for depth & dimension.
✔ Add your Nightmare-inspired embellishments—icing bags, oven mitts, and more!
👻 PRO TIP: Foam tape makes your embellishments POP for that extra BOO factor!
