The Double Matting Trick: Make It Look FANCY!

Card-making set with "Greetings of the Season" stamps, floral prints, and dark purple card on a gray surface. Text: To: From:.
Elevate your design by layering White Daisy and Regal Winter DSP for crisp contrast against the BlackBerry Bliss Cardstock.

To create contrast, double-mat the White DaisyĀ and Regal Winter DSP.

This technique adds a beautiful definition between the BlackBerry Bliss CardstockĀ and the patterned paper.

Do not adhere to the base just yet.

šŸ–Š Using CTMH Intense Black Ink, stamp ā€œToā€ and ā€œFromā€ from the Greetings of the Seasons Stamp Set onto the inner top flap of the cardholder.

Attach the Stamped Piece:

Adhere this stamped piece to the inside top flap of the gift card holder, ensuring itā€™s positioned neatly and securely.

šŸ’” Pro Tip: Want to take it up a notch? Heat emboss the sentiment in gold! It adds a luxe, elegant touch!

Ā

Adding Ribbon & Double-Matted Card Panels

Position your double-matted panels carefully to ensure the patterns align when folded! Before adhering, secure the BlackBerry Bliss & Gold Textured Ribbon with a dot of glue on the backā€”this keeps everything neat, polished, and perfectly in place! šŸŽ€šŸ’œ

With creases facing down, position your double-matted panels on card ends ensuring that patterns face correctly when folded.

Before adhering panel pieces, lay the Blackberry Bliss & Gold textured Ribbon across the card as shown in the photo above. Add a dot of glue to the center back of the card to adhere to the BlackBerry Bliss & Gold Textured Ribbon. Let dry.

Once dry flip the card over, fold the card & attach double-matted panels, tucking the Blackberry Bliss & Gold Textured RibbonĀ into the panel for a clean finished edge as shown in the photo above.

Ā

Stamping the Outer Sentiment:

Now for the star of the showā€”the gorgeous sentiment cluster!

šŸ’« Stamp the sentiment ā€œHoping Your Season is Bright & Beautifulā€ from the Peaceful Seasons Stamp Set onto BlackBerry Bliss cardstock with White Daisy Ink.

āœ‚ Once dryā€¦ Die-cut the sentiment using Deckled Circle Dies!

šŸ’” Pro Tip: Layer the sentiment onto a larger circle cut from Gold Foil Sheets for maximum elegance!

Ā

Stamp set labeled "Peaceful Season," a floral card, and festive decorations on a red and beige background. Text: "Hoping this season is bright & beautiful."
