Would you believe I made these back in November 2023—just a few months after I first picked up scrapbooking?! 🤯
Back then, I wasn’t thinking about blogs, SEO, or even where my crafting journey would take me. I was just a brand-new crafter, having fun, experimenting, and hoping my projects would turn out half as pretty as the ones I saw online!
Fast forward, and here I am—blogging, growing, and evolving as a crafter! And looking back at these early creations? It’s a reminder of just how far I’ve come!
So if you’re feeling stuck, unsure, or doubting your creativity—DON’T. Because every single project, no matter how simple or experimental, is part of your creative story! 🚀✨
🎨 Materials Used: CTMH Silver Bells Collection
✔ CTMH CTMH Silver Bells Collection – Soft winter hues with delicate holiday designs.
✔ Cardstock Colors: Pine & Journey—rich, classic Christmas tones.
✔ Ornament Dies – Elegant, intricate focal points that elevate the design.
✔ Silver & Gold Foil Paper – Because holiday magic = SHINE! ✨
✔ Coordinating Ink Pads – Keeping the sentiment crisp & festive!
⏳ Step-by-Step: How I Made These Early Cards
1️⃣ Card Base & Layers: I kept it clean & simple with layered cardstock and patterned paper.
2️⃣ Die-Cut Ornaments: I cut my focal point from gold & silver foil paper (because who doesn’t love a little shimmer?!)
3️⃣ Stamped Sentiment: A simple, classic Christmas phrase ties it all together.
4️⃣ Final Touches: Foam strips for dimension + tiny embellishments to complete the look!
🎄 Looking Back: My Crafting Journey Since Then
At the time, I was so proud of these cards. And I still am! They were part of my early learning process, where I started figuring out my style, trying new techniques, and embracing the magic of handmade cards!
But now? I’ve evolved. My designs have become bolder, more intricate, and packed with personality! Just look at my latest creations:
