Step-by-Step Guide to Crafting with the “Fun in the Sun” Kit
The first step I like to take is organizing my workspace by creating separate piles for each of the three card types included in the kit. This way, I can easily stay on track and ensure that each card turns out just right. After sorting, I proceed to punch out the charming embellishments and neatly place them in their corresponding card piles.
Next, I carefully stamp all the sentiments needed for each card, ensuring they are cohesive across the front, interior, and back. Allowing the ink to dry thoroughly ensures a flawless finish, free from smudges.
Now, it’s time to assemble the cards. Starting with the first stack, I follow the detailed instructions to master the “mountains and valleys” folding technique, which adds dimension and visual interest to each card. Working from back to front, I affix the ocean piece, then the sand, and finally add the crab holding the sign, creating a dynamic and playful design.
