Crafting Elegant Greeting Cards with CTMH Secret Garden Collection

I’m excited to share my latest card creations featuring the enchanting CTMH Secret Garden collection! These cards are perfect for sending warm thoughts and hugs to loved ones. Let’s dive into the details of how these beautiful cards came together.



Materials Used To Create These Elegant Greeting Cards With CTMH Secret Garden Collection,


• French Vanilla cardstock

• CTMH Pine, Periwinkle, ink

• Adhesive, glue, and Stampin’ Dimensionals



Creating the Cards


To create these A2-sized cards (4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches), I used a combination of floral patterns, delicate embellishments, and heartfelt sentiments.


1. Base Layers:

I started with the Secret Garden patterned papers. I love how the soft greens, blues, and yellows complement each other. Then I added a double-matted square in the middle to stamp the sentiment on and layer the Secret Garden Flower embellishments.


2. Sentiments:

For the sentiments, I used the “Layering Leaves” and “Sentiment Park” stamp sets, stamping them in CTMH Pine ink. The sentiments “Sending Hugs” and “Thinking of You” add a heartfelt touch to these cards.


3. Embellishments:

I added flower embellishments from the Secret Garden Thin Cuts in Sage and Periwinkle, inking up the edges for added depth. To complete the look, I used Pecan Pie clear and ribboned dots, adding a touch of sparkle.


4. Final Touches: I cut sprigs and leaves out of Sage and yellow patterned paper, layering them with the flowers to create a cohesive and elegant design.



A Special Memory



Several months ago, my son and I made a “Toy Story” layout, where he made a green flower. I asked him, “Green?” and lo and behold, it worked! Fast forward to this project, and now I’m the one making green flowers. The green floral elements help balance the page, adding a unique touch to each card.
